Our Senators and Representatives are now in D.C., some more comfortable than others.

There is a feeling that this could be a very tough winter for Republicans and, if today’s news conference is any indication, perhaps only Rep. John Kline, R-Minn., and Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, will survive in tact.

Did Hell Freeze Over Kline? Kline knows all about how politically cold it can get in DC…He certainly gave enought ‘cold shoulders’ to anyone who wasn’t a republican. Last November he posted on ‘The Hill’ that Democrats are “the wacky wing of (the) ultraliberal party,” and the “tattered fringe of the loony left.”
If it’s chilly for Kline, he has no-one to blame but his own partisan ass!
