My friends , quickly i am an American living in Brazil , South America for the past 32 years , but i have kept active about what has been going on internationall. I belkeive i have an insght a bit different from whm is in the middle of the storm. we get different info that you do not recieve.
Bail out ?? is this a fianancial bail out or a Bush Bail out ? i would not say its a wallstreet bail out, although a great part of this situation is due to wallstreet and the govt not controlling the USA fianances.
Is it needed? yes! definetly needed and the americans should not oppose because although not responsable, they will be the hardest hit.
In my opion Bush is the one that will be best benifited from this as he will walk away from 8 years semi – advantaged, Mr. bush never appeared on TV as much as he has in the last two weeks, not even in the iraq trauma.
this is just the beginning , more is to come, there is a credit problem with Americans , they owe much more on their credit cards than any other country , this will appear soon , the TV channels are protecting the govt. last night i was watching bloomberg (world wide fianancial channel) the person being interviewed was saying that the package was needed, but it was only the first of many , besides mortgaes loans , credit card , school loans , besides over 200 banks in trouble. all this will appear soon , in the middle of the intervoew it was cut off !!! why ?
the emmocional terroisim that the usa govt is doing with the american people , They say if u do not accept u will be left hanging the bag and paying for it.
As i said its true we need the package , but whome has to pay it back is the fianancial companies , the govt , without any cost to tax payers , in other words do not make your problem, my problems.
I beleive the fault of not coming to the table with the recovery bill, was good,
we do not have to bail out eurpeans or anyone else . we need to worry about the americans , and only the americans!!!
The americans have bailed out other countries since WW1 , ww2 , vietnam corean war , now the americans need help !!
The americans need to think of home and not other countries , lets forget about Iraq , afganistan , pakistan , georgia , lets pull out , does anyone think they care about the USA , we spend 10 billion in iraq per month rediculious
Well have a nice night
Rick

I’m surprised to see that Jim Oberstar has become a Republican.

ARIZONA VOTED AGAINST MCCAIN
I love the fact that John McCain blames the vote going against the bailout on Obama. But there is an interesting fact out there. ALL the representatives from Arizona voted against the bailout? It just shows how much the other reps from AZ respect McCain. If he can’t get the republicans from his home state to vote with him how is he going to get the rest of the nation to work with him. Maybe they are angry because while McCain brags that he has never done anything for his home state, they are all stuck working for the people of Arizona in DC.
ARIZONA
Democrats — Giffords, N; Grijalva, N; Mitchell, N; Pastor, N.
Republicans — Flake, N; Franks, N; Renzi, N; Shadegg, N.
