Video: ‘Democrat’ Sarah Palin left out of Michigan pullout decision

“To be certain, McCain’s move — or move-out –took all sides by surprise,” writes the Washington Independent’s Sridhar Pappu of John McCain’s decision yesterday to essentially stop campaigning in Michigan. And apparently it was a surprise to Sarah Palin, too. In an interview today, she admitted that she learned of the pull-out from the media: “I read that this morning also, I fired off a quick email and said, ‘Aw c’mon. Do we have to? Do we have to call it there?’” She “broke ranks” with McCain — as Fox News’ Carl Cameron put it — saying she and her husband would be happy to continue campaigning in Michigan. Curiously, while Fox touts Palin’s “maverick” move, Cameron — as MnIndy reader John Moravec noticed — incorrectly identifies Palin as “the Democratic candidate” in the video. Watch it after the jump.

LOL. After watching that I realized that Michigan truly is missing out on Sarah and Todd’s leadership.

Sorry, Sarah. To paraphrase your running mate’s straight talk in Michigan last January, those campaign jobs are gone and they aren’t coming back.

That is, unless this Fox story is part of a soap opera storyline in which the suspension of campaigning in Michigan is itself suspended.
