SurveyUSA has published current approval numbers for U.S. Sens. Norm Coleman and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.  The survey, conducted between Jan. 12 and Jan. 14, indicated a 56/30 approve/disapprove split for newcomer Klobuchar, a Democrat, and 55/36 for Coleman, a Republican up for re-election in 2008.

Tim Pawlenty spent much of 2006 hovering at or just above 50 percent in S-USA’s monthly approval ratings, but dropped to 45 percent before the Nov. 7 elections.
