Is AAR Minnesota still around? I never listen anymore.

Agreed. I also like that they're extending Minnesota Matters–one thing that I think has hindered AM 950 is the lack of local programming. It has at times seemed more like a distribution service than a radio station. Some of that is inevitable–when you're on a network, you're on a network. But at the very least, going to two hours a day of local programming is going to help give the station a bit more definition.

This is a great move Considering the flack that Janet Robert got for the memos on same-sex marriage. Adding an openly gay host to the line-up fixes a lot of that animosity.
