Well, Kudos to Ms Bachmann for taking the high road and based on new information has done an about face on her attempt to get this guy off the hook.

She did not attempt to justify his actions, his not being guilty until proven innocent or slowly backing away depending on how the media or public portray the fallout.

She boldly did the right thing. She was convinced this guy was reformed, but the very possibility of linking him to additional illegal activity means she leaves nothing to chance and cuts her allegience.

This is so head and shoulders above what the democrats have been doing for a decade, which is to come up with excuses and pander to public opinion. Obama being the worst offender of this.

This is just another demonstraion of how good conservatvies operate on integrity and good liberals operate on a win at all cost operandi.

They’ve been whaling away linking Obama to Rev Wright and Ayers, so it’s great justice that Bachmann get her due for wanting to pardon this guy who helps scams occur. Maybe Michelle is right and the guy has reformed, but now certainly its guilt by association time.

From my view Petters is innocent till proven otherwise. Still, Bachmannn should show better jugdement in pardons. May be she should stick to what she knows about:clothes. She’s known as “eye candy” in Washington for fashionista trend setting.
