If my facts are off, please provide evidence to the contrary. I'm going on the campaign contribution database maintained by the Center for Responsive Politics, as cited above. Admittedly the contribution picture for Coleman is a bit bizarre. According to CRP, Petters has given Coleman a total of $7,700 this election cycle, but $6,100 of that was returned by the campaign. Usually that happens when someone exceeds the campaign contribution limits, but in this instance that wouldn't appear to be the case since Petters has not hit the $4,600 max for primary and general election.

The facts on Norm Coleman in the story is off. You state Norm got ($1,600) this election cycle, but he got a lot more, and you missed the soft money on Norm.
