Video: Coleman ad misrepresents Wellstone anecdote as more ‘angry’ Al

Al Franken’s a raving lunatic, right? That’s what Norm Coleman’s supporters would have you believe, but an interesting new Franken video calls out Coleman for a pretty egregious misrepresentation. The story, well told (and told first) by MNPublius, shows how two Coleman ads by the National Republican Senatorial Committee used a snippet of a crazed-looking Franken to suggest the Democrat has anger issues. In fact, the footage is from Franken’s imitation of the late Sen. Paul Wellstone, who used to run alongside his son David during cross-country races shouting wildly, “You can take this guy! You can take this guy!”
