Star Tribune’s Eric Black, St. Cloud Times Call for Bachmann to Back Up Statements

Two entities at the heart of Bachmann’s recent comments regarding a plan by unnamed players to partition Iraq with the northwest portion an Iran controlled ‘terrorist haven’.

St. Cloud Times reporter Lawrence Schumacher captured Bachmann’s comments during a February 10th podcast. The St. Cloud Times editorial board wrote today that Bachmann needs to explain her statements.

She needs to fully explain either how she knows of a plan to split Iraq in half, or if she was talking over her head
