Is ‘Joe the Plumber’ really an investor?

A sleuth over at Democratic Undeground uncovered some dirt on the token hard-working American Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher (pictured) from last night’s debate. It looks like McCain’s poor buddy is actually an investor, according to this web site. JCC Investments was started in 2001 and includes one employee, Joe Wurzelbacher. Mr. Wurzelbacher, who said today he wasn’t even a licensed plumber, claims estimated annual sales of the company to be $89,000, or nearly three times the average American’s salary. Hardly the great symbol of average America McCain portends him to be. For more on “Joe the Plumber” and the 3 percent increase his supposed plumbing company would pay in taxes under Obama’s plan, read here.

Oh–and Joe thinks thinks Social Security is a “joke” and says he “hates” it. Here’s the vid.
