Cop Under Investigation for Allegedly Calling Ellison a Terrorist
Thursday, March 01, 2007 at 11:58 pm
A Minneapolis police lieutenant for 18 years is under internal investigation for allegedly implying that U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., is a terrorist.
Two officers who declined to be named told the Star Tribune that Lt. Bob Kroll made the comments during a police ethics training this week.
Ellison is the first Muslim elected to Congress. He represents the 5th District, which includes Minneapolis.
Kroll allegedly said we are “at war with Islamic terrorists” and that “one was elected to Congress,” according to the Star Tribune.
Kroll, who is also vice president of the Police Federation, denied making such comments, saying he’s smarter than that.
Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan issued a public apology to Ellison. In an e-mail sent to all employees, he called Kroll’s remarks unacceptable. Mayor R. T. Rybak denounced Kroll’s remarks as “shockingly ignorant.

That cop misspoke There is no evidence that Keith X *is* a terrorist; just that he associates and accepts financial support from groups that support terrorists.

Speaking for the misspoken? Seems that Swiftee is enlisted to speak for the “misspoken” cop. So, what should be his punishment?
Cop Kroll is clearly a racist looking into his troubling past.

Swiftee Swiftee is a known and shunned racist himself. Any attempt to engage him with logic or civility is a waste of time. He is a perfect example of a waste of a lay.

I don’t speak for anyone but myself. I’m just relating the facts of the matter; nothing more, nothing less.
Somehow, I doubt that Keith X talks much about “warm embraces” when he speaks to his pals at CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood. But you can’t deny that he is a master at delivering smooooth pap to his moonbat supporters.

Guilt by Association. Well, lookie here…… The Republican Party accepted donations from Abdul Alishtari who was indicted on terrorism charges for funneling $152,000 to Afghanistan training camps. Alishtari donated $20,000 to the NRSC and $15,250 to the NRC. He was also named Businessman of the Year and member of the NRCC Inner Circle which they describe as “an impressive cross-section of American society… all of whom hold a deep interest in our nation’s prosperity and security.”
Hmmm, I’m sure a terrorist supporter would have a “deep interest in our nation’s’ prosperity and security.”

Heh, Feckless is miffed… The appearance of someone who retains an unbought and paid for freedom of speech has Feckless disturbed….
It has to get tiring to have someone move your mouth (or fingers) by remote control…but that’s what you’re getting paid for Jeffy.

Where’s the outrage About the Republican Party associating with and taking money from a terrorist supporter? It couldn’t be that you have a double standard now, could it?

You almost had me. To have a party that I am affiliated with accept money from a terrorist would really be a blow.
Pfft….I should have known better:
“WASHINGTON (AP) – A Republican Party campaign committee that received $20,000 in 2003 from a man now accused of helping terrorists has donated the money to a foundation that comforts families of wounded soldiers.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee, the campaign arm for Republican senators, renounced the contribution after news reports identified Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari as an NRSC “Inner Circle Member for Life.”

Not just shoveled it away, RENOUNCED.
Has Keith X Hakim Ellison renounced any part of his connection with terrorism? Has he returned any money he has recieved from CAIR?
No, no he hasn’t.

Keep digging anonabat “A spokeswoman for the NRCC, Jessica Boulanger, said if Alishtari is found guilty, the organization would donate the money to charity.”
So the guy has not been convicted and if he is they will get rid of the funds.
I’d prefer they shitcan the guy and his money right now, but until he’s convicted he is not guilty of anything.
There are several members of CAIR that HAVE BEEN CONVICTED, SENTENCED and ARE IN PRISON for aiding terrorists.
Hss Keith X sent back a buck from them? Has he renounced the convicted terrorist supporters?
No, no he hasn’t.
You said the GOP took money from terrorist supporters…that is not true.
I said that Keith X Hakim Ellison has taken money from terrorist supporters, that is a documented fact.

another excuse And they directly contributed to Ellison? Yeah, didn’t think so. Typical bs. You were jumping up and down b/c one of the Republican groups RENOUNCED him but the other didn’t so you pull another excuse out of your ass.
