Hotdish Tuesday – Kline Edition
Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 9:45 am
It must be getting warm. As Fecke points out, Congressman John Kline just launched his 3rd attack this month against challenger Coleen Rowley’s campaign volunteer David Bailey.
Three attack pieces in one month, two of them glossy full-color mailers? Does this sound like the work of a sitting congressman soundly in the lead?
more insideSadly, we have little idea which way the wind is blowing in the second due to the complete lack of polling data released to the outside world. However, that doesn’t mean polling hasn’t been done, only that it hasn’t been released. And the real question is, what was in that $22,000 worth of polling that made John Kline decide he needed to attack campaign volunteers and act like a candidate coming from behind?
Later today we will have interviews from both Coleen Rowley and David Bailey, as well as some thoughts from political scientist Larry Jacobs.
