Sign season: God punishes McCain-Palin sign stealers

For weeks in Powderhorn Park there stood a lone McCain-Palin sign in a yard on 16th Avenue. It abutted an Obama-Biden sign, nearly touching its tip as if the property line were the red-state-blue-state divide. Along a street with homemade “peace” signs, Obama yard signs, and anti-war messages in windows, the McCain-Palin sign looked like a lost and wounded sheep screaming for equal attention. Now it seems that today Powderhorn is McCain-Palin free, as the single sign in the neighborhood has disappeared. In its place? A biblical rant and a message of “I’ll get you, my pretty!” Wait, make that God will get you.

To whoever stole my 2 signs for McCain/Palen [sic]. You may think you’ve gotten away and are funny or cute, but, God will deliver the justice for it is written thou shall [sic] not steal. P.S. Did it make your mom proud? Of you [sic]
