Is the role of religion in societies helping or hindering the quest for peace in the world?
It depends on how it’s used, said a group of panelists that debated the issue Thursday at the University of Minnesota. But they argued that religion is not intrinsically a source of conflict, as widely portrayed in the media.

I am unconvinced So an interfaith panel that contains only people of faith decides that faith is a good thing? Hold the phone, I am so surprised!

It’s all the atheists fault I understand that al qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, the IRA, the Bush admin. are all secret atheist organizations posing as religious terrorist outfits. It’s all a big plot,see.The inter-fraud counsel is on the case.
