Supporting inflated housing prices is a mistake. This was a bubble and it will hurt the economy until housing prices return to a rational level. Just as internet stocks had to come back to reality – home prices need to. Otherwise we cannot compete on the world market, and we will be house rich and everything else poor. McCain wants to maintain these high house prices to save the banks. In some areas (Texas, California, Florida) the price of homes nearly tripled between 2001 and 2006. How are families supposed to make it with these prices? Wages have not gone up much at all. But milk, bread, eggs, gasoline have doubled.

What McCain is advocating is welfare for banks at the taxpayers’ expense. We take the hit, but Obama is the dangerous “socialist”.

If you go to the HUD website, you’ll see that Hud will refinance your mortgage, BUT since the value is overstated, they want part of your equity when you sell that home.
NOW, that is what concerns me..HUD Preston is only concerned when everything tilts against us and in Hud’s favor. Isn’t that business as usual..

I never have gotten a clear understanding of McCain’s deal is, but I have been thinking he was thinking along the same lines as Preston..Something already in the works would be about McSame’s speed.

I saw her in an scripted interview last night regarding Relgion – she might want to explain what she is doing practicing witchcraft in the you tube video. She acts like we are stupid everyone has seen this video. Are we ever going to get an answer on this. I am just curious – what was she doing there?

She really is out of touch with reality. I can understand how Alaska overlooks this, but the rest of the world is not that stupid.
