Sterner does believe in comprehensive sex education and pregnancy prevention. Judy Lindsay should not be a State Representative and even though Phil Sterner is 100% on the issues for the GLBT community he certainly is better than having Judy Lindsay, who supported Arlon Linder, and has given sworn bigoted testimony.

If you think that Sterner should be the person running the GLBT flag in the community that he is running in than you should re-think election maps. Conceding someone that is mostly friendly to your issues is silly when he is running against someone far to the right.

Please Lindsay – run for the job. People of your ilk are doing wonders at diminishing any moral or ethical claims the GOP might have had at one time. We encourage unelectables like Lindsay to run hard and run often so that those on the Left can watch as the GOP becomes more and more marginalized.

Sterner should be asked point-blank how he differs from Lindsay on her anti-gay views. He has told me he would support municipal domestic partnerships – but it took many follow up questions to get him to answer the question. Also, “pro-life” isn’t a correct way to describe someone who opposes legalized abortion. An opponent of legalized abortion is more accurate. After all, are people who believe that abortion should be legal “anti-life”? That’s nonsense.

Where does Sterner stand on comprehensive sex education and pregnancy prevention. Does he agree with Lindsay on the abstinence only – condoms don’t work sex ed?

There’s lots of reasons that Judy Lindsay should not be elected, but I’m not convinced that gays should invest in Sterner’s campaign. There are other better candidates to invest in.

We know Lindsay is a bigot – and she’s got the bigot vote sewn up. The question is whether Sterner will stand up to the bigots. I’m not convinced.

Even if Michelle Bachmann goes down, it seems there’s no end of clones. There’s this bigoted woman, the state supreme court challengers, Mary Kiffmeyer rearing her vote-suppressing head, …am I missing any?
