Rothenberg: Minnesota Senate race still deadlocked
Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 9:56 am
Minnesota’s Senate contest is the only remaining toss-up in the country, according to the latest rankings from the Rothenberg Political Report. Yesterday’s conviction of Sen. Ted Stevens was sufficient to bump his seat over to “lean takeover,” leaving Norm Coleman all alone among incumbents in the toss-up realm. The latest composite of polls from Real Clear Politics shows Al Franken with a razor-thin 37.7-37.0 percent lead, while Independence Party candidate Dean Barkley trails with average support of 17.3 percent.
