Video: Cliff Clavin, Pat Boone and Victoria Jackson stump for Norm

The Republicans are bringing out the big guns in defense of Sen. Norm Coleman this week. A new video by the National Republican Senatorial Committee enlists Hollywood has-beens Pat Boone, Stephen Baldwin, John “Cliff Clavin” Ratzenberger, Robert (who?) Davi and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Victoria Jackson in a Minnesotacentric commercial that accuses Al Franken of sullying Hollywood’s reputation. As MN Publius points out, Jackson — whose career peaked with the SNL skit about a cat who could drive a car — believes Barack Obama is the anti-Christ. Go figure, she’s a McCain supporter:

Why am I voting for the fantastic McCain/Palin ticket? Simply because my “world view” is based on the belief that The Bible is the inerrant, holy, Word of God, and the Republican stance on abortion, marriage, government control, taxes, education, health care, charity, military, defense, democracy and freedom — lines up closest with the Bible’s message.
