Ritchie's charges are completely without merit and appear to be nothing but an attempt to deflect scrutiny away from questions about the voter rolls and smear his critics. The TV news media ran wild with Ritchie's accusations on Wednesday, but shut out coverage of Minnesota Majority's response and even the volunteer in question, herself. This was legitimate citizen research in an attempt to answer questions the Secretary of State wouldn't adequately address.
