Easter Sunday Lesson

I had made copious notes about what to write on this Easter Sunday. Possible subjects included campaign creep, JOBZ, sales tax on clothing, proposed reduced environmental standards on ethanol plants, parallels between the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan and the American occupation of Iraq

Reduced standards for ethanol plants? Weakening the air pollution regulation of ethanol is a remarkably bad idea. We at the American Lung Association of Minnesota are supporters of E85 fuel, but not lower EPA standards (that just toughened a few years ago) or coal-fired ethanol plants.
