TortureU of M makes torture documents available

A year ago Dr. Steven Miles of the University of Minnesota’s Center for Bioethics published a book about medical doctors being complicit with torture proceedings in the U.S. military. Though the book was hardly a best-seller (#120,156 in Amazon.com’s book list), it did create some controversy. For example, “when George Annas of the Boston University School of Public Health reviewed the book, he challenged Miles to make the source documents publicly available.”

Now Miles and the U of M have done just that. According to a U of M press release, those records can be accessed from the home page of the Human Rights Library or directly here.
