What possible rationale could the City of St. Paul have for distinguishing between "journalists" and other "persons?" If they are going to dismiss the charges against journalists on the grounds of lack of evidence, shouldn't they also be dismissing the charges against all those plain ordinary non-disruptive people arrested and cited for "unlawful assembly" on the bridge over I-94 and on Shepard Road? Some 858 people arrested, and about 8 of them for actual cause. A total disgrace to our community and state.
