I think you may be right. In my heart of hearts, I want Obama to show the world that Dems have a spine and we can be as ruthless (politically speaking) as they are. I'm so tired of capitulating to the "rightees" demands. It's about time we set our own agenda. And if we try it and it fails, at least we tried it.
