A graffiti symbolizing the anti-Semitic swastika was painted on a synagogue in St. Louis Park Monday. Police say the suspect didn’t even do a good job in drawing the swastika.

Police got the tip of a small swastika on the wall of Knesseth Israel Congregation in the 43rd block of 28 St., according to Kirk DiLorenzo, the deputy chief of St. Louis Park’s police department.

The suspect used a permanent marker to draw the swastika between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., according DiLorenzo.

Police are calling the incident “a bias crime.
