The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza has assembled a list of 10 Republicans across the country who will be influential in trying to resurrect the party over the next four years. Conspicuously missing from the mix? Gov. Tim Pawlenty. While Cillizza explains his reasoning for other notables left off the list (Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee), no reason is provided for the Pawlenty ommission. At the top of the GOP heap? Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.
Has T-Paw lost his luster on the national political scene?

Didn’t he call mccain ‘cranky” last week?
Also, and I’ve been saying this for sometime: I think pawlenty turned down mccain for the veep spot. He was hardly enthusiastic from a return from Denver back when. He was not really saying much before the vetting. And he really didn’t campaign much for mccain, plus he’s called mccain “cranky” this past week. Not signs of someone who wanted the veep spot.
I really think he saw the writing on the wall, so to speak and said no.
Plus, maybe he knows: “would people vote for me if I had a mullet???”

He sure spends enough time getting his mug on nationl TV lately.
Why is he yapping away about the recount. He has no idea which way
it will go anymore than we do.
