Hays will soon need additional legal assistance for influence peddling when the FBI concludes its investigation of the Attorney General's office.

1. In October, 2004, Hatch announces a sweeping investigation into broker compensation and in October, 2005, Hatch announces his candidacy for Governor.

2. In 2006, 21 Hays-related contributions were sent to Hatch (16 in April of 2006) while Lori Swanson received 12 Hays-related contributions, (11 of them in October).

3. Hays employees (all regular Republican donors) tried to escape detection by doubling their donations through their spouses (check out donations by senior execs Steve Lerum, Bill Mershon, Carolyn Schaefer, Mike Egan, Richard Perrin) and a number of Hays employees falsified their employment status on campaign finance forms (Don Birdsong, Tim O’Connor, Mary Marshall). If in doubt, check out http://www.cfbreport.state.mn.us/dyncfb/cfbsearch1.php.

Now Hatch suggests that they chose not to investigate Hays, which is by far the largest broker headquartered in the state….for what reason exactly? Very odd in light of the findings of the Massachusetts AG for $930,000 against Hays and the $920,000 BUCA settlement over Hays taking secret commissions while advising clients they were compensated on a “fee only” basis.

"Some Liberals in Minnesota think that his hot wife, Laurie Coleman, has been cropped into the video. This would make sense, since his wife lives in Los Angeles and wants to be a Movie Star, or at least the filet of home gadget teevee commercial actresses. The Coleman campaign has called this a “left-wing, liberal” conspiracy theory, noting that Laurie Coleman is in the kitchen at all times, making pies for her Family Values Husband."--Wonkette

Why not hire your old law firm Norman?

Oh, that's right they are implicated in the McKim lawsuit too.

"Exhibit G Pg.2

"Winthrop Weinstine, the former employer of Sen. Norm Coleman, represents NJK Holding, which is controlled by Kazeminy."--Mckim vs. DMT, Nasser Kazeminy, etc."
