Hey Seng here’s a thought… ummm… speak for yourself! Just because you are one Hmong BK Consumer does not mean that you speak on behalf of all the Hmong American Consumer’s out there (especially with such poor grammer). This is simply a marketing ploy initiated by the BK Fat Cats. If you really are so anal about the situation then I emplore you to seek legal counsel and file a discrimination suit.

Since when did “Ber-gerh” become the Hmong/Thai word for burger? Simply because you can’t pronounce the english word correctly does not automatically mean it is now the accepted translation in the other language. It’d be along the same lines of saying a Jamaican saying “Ey Mon” is their language for “Hey Man.”

Seng bitches and moans about BK using false advertisement. However, BK does not indicate when the study was done. It could have been a year ago before the franchises opened in Thailand for all he knows. On top of that, I’m sure his “so-called” relatives in the commercial received some form of payment whether it be the Thai Currency “Baht” or The BK Currency “Burger.”
