Ritchie is another star in the Minnesota constellation of good & dedicated public servants. He just didn't come out of nowhere-he has over 20 years in doing issue advocacy work, grassroots organizing & leadership background. His elections experience was as National Chair of the "Nov 2" coalition in 2004.(see his bio on the SOS website). This work was during his time as Exec. Director of IATP. He is following in the footsteps of VP's Humphrey & Mondale, Gov Elmer Anderson & the late US Sen. Wellstone-a champion of the people's causes & singular in his mission & vision, a great listener & REALLY smart !
Can we get this guy to run for US Senate ?

as i understand it, minnesota law specifies that two supreme court justices must sit on the state canvassing board. at first i thought ritchie was ill advised in the appointment of the two republican and, most conservative pawlenty appointees. now i see the genius behind the move, by appointing them, he neutralized them in any decisions that the court will make on the actions of the board. my hat is off to ritchie for the smart move, does anyone like the sound of ritchie for govenor?
