The latter is one of the finest news organization in the world, but when it comes to their editorial page...fuggetaboutit. The PP editorial page has generally done a good job commenting on the recount, but the paper's decision to use the WSJ editorial, with all of its bogus points and inflammatory language, raises questions about the motives and judgement of St. Paul's only daily. We expect such trash talk from local columnists like Joe Soucheray, but do we really need to import that kind of drivel from The Big Apple? Remember, this is the same rag that regularly publishes the tripe of Taxpayers League mouthpiece Craig Westover, a second-rate blogger and wannabe writer who once caused the paper to issue a correction in one of their political endorsements due to false information provided by Westover. And speaking of endorsements, this is also the same Jell-O-Spined editorial page that declined to endorse a candidate for president last year! They may as well farm out the editorial page to India along with the rest of their editorial work. This newspaper, like its shameful competitor across the river, is but a shell of its former self.
