Not mentioned in the first sentences of Mr. Schmelzer’s slanted account are the thousands of missile attacks – launched from Gaza by Hamas – that Jews have had to withstand.

This vote on a resolution written up for them by a lobby of a foreign government, the same government that intiated this genocide of a captive people is Disgusting. They do not represent me! By voting for this “resplution” exhibits their lack of morality and humanity. It was israel who violated the ceasefire, it is israel that has blockaded the borders of Gaza from supplies and food for over 18 months and have caused starvation and unnecessary deaths due to lack of medical supplies. It is israel who after starving these people invaded them killing anyone in their way be it children or women. This 111th Senate does not represent me…apparently they do represent israel and the atrocoties that they inflict on the people whose land they occupy.

D’accord, George. What’s the point of these votes anyway? The American public does not support this blatant support of Israel especially when it is so wrong. There is nothing wrong with saying nothing if you can’t say anything positive. All it takes is some bozo in the body to get the proposal before the body for a vote, and then you can’t vote against it or your opponents will take you apart for this stupid vote. I’m sympathetic to any elected official who has to deal with motions by some loose Israel supporting cannon that stoops to such childish tactics to keep this country in Israel’s back pocket.

Just because it’s a voice vote doesn’t mean you shouldn’t ask Klobuchar how she voted on this abomination–and it certainly doesn’t prevent her from saying.
