Mix up the letters of two names in the news this week — “Bob Poe” and “Olbermann” — and I’m pretty sure you get “Doppelganger.” At least that’s the word that came to mind when I saw a photo of Poe (pictured on the right), a leader in Alaskan business and government circles who announced this week he’s running as a Democrat to replace Sarah Palin as governor in 2010. Now combine that news with another story: Right-wing film documentarian John Ziegler says that when Palin glimpsed a photo of MSNBC newsman Keith Olbermann (on the left), “she literally let out a shriek and, pointing to his photograph, declared, ‘THAT guy is EVIL!’”
And a campaign slogan is born.

Hilarious. But, please don’t give Sarah Palin any ideas for campaign slogans. She’s already got enough crazy ideas without any extra help.

Sure looks like Keith!

I’ve met Bob Poe. He’s not evil. But then, neither is Olbermann. As for our Governor Twit, no comment. Words she might consider using in the future. Sigh.

I always had a lot of respect for AK until Palin showed up on the scene for national office. Just like in Vegas stays in Vegas please AK keep her at home. We just couldn’t take any longer. She is so well self-centered. Her ego is to big. She has to many kids that she won’t be able to do a good job. I bet since she has been back in AK she hasn’t done to much. If the deputy is doing all the work than save money and impeach her and put your deputy in. Surely you all can find someone who doesn’t have her baggage or someone like your senator who is going to jail.

How childish, moronic, and embarrasing to let everyone know that we here in Minnesota continue to be leftist bottomfeeders. Get a life.

I don’t blame Palin for hating Oberman, not one tiny bit. With his east coast sensibilities and his elitism, Oberman is everything that is wrong with this country. After Clinton got done wrecking the economy the current depression we are in was inevitable.
Palin campaigned bravely for honest plainspoken justfolk decency and fiscal accountability and those are things you can never have too much of. Poe sounds like just another egghead tax and spender and I’m sure the people of Alaska know how lucky they are to have Palin and will reelect her redoundingly.

Good grief! Ann A., please review your English textbooks from grade school and junior high school.

People,
Palin doesn’t hate Olby. She just mentioned a truth that the man is evil. Just a fact. Live with it.
Both camps are gonna get a lot of outside money, but Sarah will win.
She’s actually a good governor RELATIVE to the c**p governors in the other states.
Hell, MN just put Franken in the Senate, and people there are still wasting time on talking about Palin.

This is for Ann A. who may be ‘to big’, have ‘to many kids’ and may be just ‘to much’. Before you criticise AK’s genuine governor, a journalism major, any further, I suggest you go back ‘too’ school and re-learn the English language.

If KO is evil, then the world needs a lot more evil.

They don’t look alike at all. Maybe if the guy had gray hair. I’d like to see what his teeth look like, too. If he hasn’t had veneers put on every one you can see, no way would he ever look like Keith.
