Paulose Replies, Confirms (Sorta)

Despite many requests from Minnesota Monitor, and its promise to publish any response she decided to make, U.S. Attorney Rachel Paulose declined to comment directly to Minnesota Monitor about the federal Office of Special Counsel investigation of her leadership of the office.

But she did release a statement to the Associated Press that reads, in full:

“Since the matter is ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment at this time. I am confident the truth will be brought to light. I am focused on doing the work of the people, which is what I have been appointed to do.”

I take this as confirmation of the most basic fact I reported yesterday, namely the existence of an ongoing investigation. And I will endeavor to share her confidence about truth and light.
