People had nearly 5 years to ready for this change. Extending the date for procrastinators makes no sense. B. Having worked in the cable industry for a few years, I have only seen 2 old school analog TV's out of the thousands and thousands of homes I have been in. C. Big box electronics retailers like Best Buy and Circuit City are responsible for creating the fear that a 10 year old TV will not work after the DTV transition. HD has nothing to do with the DTV transition. A. People had nearly 5 years to ready for this change. Extending the date for procrastinators makes no sense.
