I can't tell you how relieved I am to know that Minneapolis earning a spot on this list had nothing to do with either its bad economy, or its brutal climate. It's comforting to know that the busting of the myth of "Minnesota Nice" during the dot-com boom also didn't have a lasting impact on the city's reputation. Nope, the only reason it's listed as undesirable is that other people are stupid. It's good to know that you're there to set us all straight. Seriously...really? Is that the best you could do? I mean...really? The sooner that locals face up to the city's myriad of issues, the sooner it will pull itself off of this list. That would have been more compelling than shots from the Walker of the Hennepin/Lyndale quasi-freeway, the Mall of America, Valley Fair and Kevin Garnett, the last three of which aren't even in Minneapolis.
