DCCC targets Bachmann
Monday, February 02, 2009 at 10:06 am
Rep. Michele Bachmann is among 28 Republican House members targeted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in a new ad campaign. The radio spots criticize Bachmann and her counterparts for failing to back the stimulus package that passed the House last week with no GOP support. The ads will begin airing tomorrow during drive time, according to the DCCC.
“Republicans’ champagne wishes and caviar dreams simply don’t connect with middle class families struggling to make ends meet and furious that their tax dollars are going to bail out banks, build schools in Iraq, or send American jobs overseas,” DCCC Executive Director Brian Wolff said in announcing the camapign.

So, they’re criticizing her for voting against bailing out banks, and promising to vote against it again, but she’s to blame because Democrats voted to bail out banks once and are ready for a second dip into the empty treasury to bail them out again.
Just how does that work, exactly?
Wait; nevermind.

Most of the DCCC candidates could manage to vote AGAINST the bailout or future bailouts. Franken (I know, senate) sure didn’t support it.
And then ultra-progressives like Kucinich also voted against it.

Just a footnote. The bank bailout bill was a Republican bill. Sponsored by Bush, written by Paulson and voted for by the majority of Republicans
Try again.
