Al Franken’s lawyers are asking the Minnesota Supreme Court to order the issuance of a temporary election certificate this morning. See it live on streaming video after the jump. (UPDATE: Now showing live stream from election contest trial.)

UPDATE: At 10 a.m. Central Time the Minnesota Supreme Court adjourned, having taken under advisement Al Franken’s request that the court order the state to issue him a temporary election certificate. After the Supreme Court hearing, the video stream below continued with live coverage of today’s election contest trial in the Minnesota senate race, which is a separate proceeding before a three-judge panel.
