A Texas lawsuit that alleges Nasser Kazeminy, a longtime associate of Norm Coleman, attempted to improperly funnel $75,000 to the former senator has been delayed for 60 days. Attorneys for Deep Marine Technology, a Houston-based company controlled by Kazeminy, successfully argued that the firm needs additional time to conduct an internal investigation of the allegations.
The lawsuit was filed by company founder Paul McKim. Coleman is not a party to the case, but the allegations upended his re-election bid in the final days of the campaign. A separate lawsuit filed in Delaware contains an almost identical description of Kazeminy’s attempts to provide money to Coleman.
McKim’s attorney, Casey Wallace, had argued that there was no need for a delay in the court case. “These are simple allegations,” he told MnIndy last month. “This is not an Enron-ish type case. They’ve had plenty of time to do their investigation.”

Hmmm. Why does this Paul McKim guy seem to be in a rush. Here is what I think. I think this McKim fellow has skeletons in his closet.
Maybe the media might want to look closer at this Paul McKim chap

Why is someone in a hurry??? Why is someone trying to delay?????? Every lawsuit I’ve been involved in, delay was the tactic of the guilty, not the innocent.

I question the premise that the lawsuit upended his campaign. It seemed the polls never moved. It seemed the public was willing to consider Coleman’s charge that Franken rigged it up. Normally such news would harm a campaign, maybe irreparably, but with the strong third party and the incredible negativity, it was an unusual campaign.
That it SHOULD have ended his campaign, yes.

Justice delayed is justice denied. Time to pull on that rope around Normy’s pencil neck.
