Just wondering–how did Norm Coleman treat his wife’s “salary” and his free suits for tax purposes? Did she pay taxes in MN and CA?

These Repugs are living in glass houses. Have you ever tried to file tax returns in multiple states? It’s a nightmare–I have a law degree and tons of experience but struggle nonetheless. No one is interested in them or their taxes, otherwise we’d be reading about them.

It was apparent looking at Republican comments on news sites, letters to the editor, etc., that they refuse to give up the talking point that Franken cheated on his taxes. They know the story by now. They just hope others don’t. Of course, if we don’t counter it, it will become “common knowledge” that Franken cheated. I hate spending time countering it, but at least I know they’re spending more time repeating it.

Leave it to the GOP to distort the California tax issue. California failed to close Franken’s corporation there resulting in fines for failure to report the fact that he his corporation made no money.
