Ok….this isn’t a BIG deal. But, from a African-American’s perspective, it was horribly stupid at best. You BE DA man? Lol.

That’s hilarious. That’s like saying to Connie Chung, “I rike your kung fu interview style.”

It’s ignorant. Period.

No one is calling her a racist, per se. But, it’s not exactly how you go about convincing people of color, and young people, that you’re a party of diversity. After her bad judgment, and Michael Steele’s “hip hop” antics, you can pretty much write off any black people crossing over anytime soon.

Yeah, “You da man” is only a little risque – but “you be da man” jumps several feet over the line. Don’t worry though, the republicans will figure out cultural sensitivity now that their existence as a national party depends on it. Till then they’re just going to be the schlub who grosses everyone out wiping his nose on his sleeve and saying “What? What’d I do?”. It will be an entertaining couple of presidential cycles.
