Michele Bachmann is da man!

Rep. Michele Bachmann, no stranger to the national spotlight, found herself a topic of conversation among the talking heads this weekend. Her comments to RNC chair Michael Steele at the CPAC conference, “You da man, Michael Steele. You da man!” were panned by Republicans and Democrats alike.

Ron Christie, a GOP strategist, called her comment stupid on CNN’s “The Situation Room” with Wolf Blitzer:

MSNBC’s “Hardball” took a crack at Bachmann as well:

One conservative blog, Save the GOP, called it Bachmann’s Barbara Billingsley moment, a reference to her appearance in Hollywood’s 1980 hit comedy, “Airplane.”
