While we are at it replacing Klobuchar, we ought to also consider dumping Collin Peterson. Progressives have to get tough and we have to run our own candidates in primaries....none of that typical DFL giving the nomination to those who have been standing in line the longest. I was told by the top aide to my own representative, "Who else are you going to vote for." No question mark because it wasn't a question, just a statement. Democrats are getting as greedy for bribes from big corporations as Republicans have always been.

One more thing....don't give any more money to those party-wide appeals for money to run campaigns for Democratic candidates for the house and senate. Give directly to candidates who aren't Blue Dogs (ie who don't take a lot from corporate crooks such as big pharm and big insurance and share it among themselves).

If she's a blue dog and does not support a public option, we will need to replace her.

Not a surprise she would be a Blue Dog.. she probably is also talking to the Conservaticrates. She is such an opportunist.

*** Heck, she can't even sign on to a bill to ban Cluster bombs that blow apart and maim children and farmers decades after they are dropped. ****
She can travel the news shows touting how she is saving children by passing a bill for pool drains.. yet hundreds of children in Laos, Iraq, Afganistan, Lebanon, Palestine suffer horrible death and disablities cause she had to confir with DOD on whether or not we need cluster bombs.

She is a sad reflection in the way the DFL is going here in the state. It is time for the FL to drop off the D cause they are not reflecting the majority of the interests of this state.

I am a conservative on some issues (pro-life, pro-school choice and pro-gun rights) but (unlike these Senate "Blue Dogs") am all in favor of raising taxes on the rich. The top five percent income group has prospered while the working and middle class incomes stagnated despite rising productivity. Democrats need to stand for the interests of those of us who make the bottom 95 percent who work hard but have failed to realize the American dream in a "trickle down" economy.

Let's hope a response to the question of whether Klobuchar supports or opposes raising taxes on the wealthy is also forthcoming. Was she one of the "many" in the meeting who was dissatisfied with tax increases on the wealthy?
