In his fourth book, Don’t Start the Revolution without Me, Jesse Ventura reveals that he suggested to Bill Clinton that he could solve the crisis in Israel by blowing up disputed lands (“We can say the computers malfunctioned”), mentioned that he offered to be John McCain’s running mate in 2000 and wrote that he got a visit from 23 CIA agents, who were suspicious of his surprise win of Minnesota’s governorship. In a section laid out like an imaginary timeline, he also jokes that he might enter the U.S. presidential race. One entry:

August 2008: “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced he is quitting the Democratic Party … (and) revealed that he has agreed to become the running mate of the former wrestler and Minnesota governor.”
