St. Cloud abhors a vacuum: Socialist Angela Davis and cusser Joe Biden fill void

Sixth-district podiums left empty by U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann are getting grabbed by public figures who pepper their talk with revolution and profanity. Avowed socialist, one-time Most-Wanted radical and now University of California-Santa Cruz professor emerita Angela Davis made a public appearance in St. Cloud last week. Fresh off a very vice-presidential F-bomb, Joe Biden visits St. Cloud Tuesday for a White House town hall meeting on preserving the middle class — unless he cancels to join his mother, who is in a Philadelphia hospital after a fall. Yet Bachmann — whose seat is in the Dems’ 2010 party-flipping crosshairs or could even disappear with a downsized state congressional delegation after the 2010 U.S. Census — has yet to hold a proper town hall meeting in her district.
