New national poll shows Obama, Clinton tied

A new USA Today/Gallup poll indicates that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has pulled even with Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., in national support.
Both Obama and Clinton receive support from 33 percent of likely voters. Former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., trails with 20 percent of the vote.
Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, is far back with 3 percent. Gov. Bill Richardson, D-N.M., receives the support of 1 percent of respondents, and former Sen. Mike Gravel, D-Alaska, receives less than 1 percent.
The poll shows a dramatic narrowing since the previous poll in mid-December. Clinton has lost the support of 12 percent of respondents, while Obama has increased his support by 6 percent. Edwards has also increased his share of the vote by 5 percent.
