The general stimulus bill that provides direct dollars to the states has nothing to do with the TARP bailouts. The bonuses were never "given" by the democrats, actually a loophole was inserted into the document that allowed COMPANIES to give bonuses and the beneficiaries of said bonuses to keep them. Slow down. The general stimulus bill that provides direct dollars to the states has nothing to do with the TARP bailouts. The bonuses were never “given” by the democrats, actually a loophole was inserted into the document that allowed COMPANIES to give bonuses and the beneficiaries of said bonuses to keep them.
