Have we really sunk this low? America should be setting the standard for human rights. Unlimited authority with zero transparency? This is a recipe for disaster. We can’t accept this treatment for a “certain group” of individuals and not expect it to come back to bite us. I shudder to think of what is the next step on this road we’re going down.

Interesting comments. It is OK to detain innocent people, including people who are LEGALLY in the U.S. – I have investigated and reported about some of them being tortured right here in Fayetteville, Arkansas. My report CHERTOFF, THE ICE MAN AND THE TORTURE SQUAD is available on YouTube.

So what. Worry about American law rather than “international law” and what that idiotic club called the United Nations is doing.
This is ripe… “Amnesty International “has identified more than a hundred cases in the past ten years in which US citizens and lawful permanent residents have incorrectly been placed into removal proceedings.”
There are 300 million people in this country, and 100 (or more than/eyes roll) are detained by accident over a period of ten years??? That’s ten per year. Not bad…
