He loves to run up to Fargo for a day and pose with a shovel, filling sandbags, or jump in front of the camera when the press is around, claiming credit for singlehandedly rebuilding the 35W bridge. But when it comes to the day-to-day stuff, Pawlenty has little or no interest in goverment or ethics. The 3 judge panel needs to rule, then a possible appeal to the State Supreme Court as a whole would be next. Once they decide, Governor Pawlenty and Secretary of State Ritchie should sign the election certificate, and the winner (I'm guessing Franken) should be immediately seated. If the governor didn't sign the certification after the Mn Supremes ruled, then he must stand in the firestorm of public pressure that likely will result, and the Senate should seat the winner regardless.
