Oberstar is a hero in the eyes of many employees at Fedex. Fred Smith has used puppet big money republican for years to deny his employees the simple right to vote for a union or not. If Fedex treats it’s employees so great then why are they so afraid of the employees Unionizing? A TEXAS SENATOR should NOT dictate TO THE SOVEREIGN STATE OF MINNESOTA. Let every OTHER STATE give up ONE SENATOR — then, decide what’s BEST for Minnesota!

HOW MUCH HAS MINNESOTA already LOST during the greatest financial ARMAGEDDON in our nation’s history? HOW much of the stimulus $$$ WENT elsewhere — because TWO senators were NOT working FOR THE STATE?

To the GOP, it is just a slick POLITICAL PLOY to avoid the INEVITABLE. To the people of Minnesota … IT IS TANTAMOUNT to “HOLDING HOSTAGE” an entire population — for the WHIMS of one political party OF SORE LOSERS trying to BEND THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE to its own political AGENDA. The GOP will never get another candidate elected in Minnesota if it DOES NOT STOP hindering the state’s election process.

ALL THE GOP/Coleman cabal NEEDS is a MASK & GUN to be seen as WHAT THEY ARE: HIGHWAY ROBBERS with no social conscience.

EVERY GOP member should hang ITS head in shame! Grand Old Party, indeed! The only TRUISM is that IT IS OLD.

GOOD LUCK IN THE MID-YEAR elections, guys! You have given every race a new message: VOTE FOR FREEDOM and the RIGHT TO CHOOSE. VOTE DEMOCRATIC. Republicans are far too stupid and self-centered. Bring on Palin, too. Another classic joke –right up there with Bachman.
LET MY PEOPLE GO! You GOP jerks. MINNESOTA for Minnesotans.

PS: BUSH v GORE is NOT an option *(note to GOP): WHEN the Supreme Court RULED in B v G, it ruled that case WAS A LAW UNTO ITSELF – and as such it could NEVER be used as a “precedent” in ANY OTHER election litigation. Not bad ENOUGH the GOP stacked the SUPREMES and got THE MAJ0RITY to (bogusly) SEAT Bush – BUT NOW the GOP actually wants to OVER-TURN their own conservatives’ ruling?

PSS: what a SAD SAD day for the GOP. Hanging their hats on a soon to be indicted Money-grubbing FORMER politician the FBI is investigating for taking money from political CRONY’s.

Oberstar isn’t the headline grabber that Bachmann is, but he fights some good fights. Good for him. If FedEx is dumb enough to screw up its own business to avoid being put under the NLRB, they’re doomed anyway.
