Ellison to Bush: “Stimulate the economy by ending the war”

Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., personalized his response to Monday’s State of the Union speech by comparing George W. Bush’s $150 billion economic stimulus package with the cost of the war in Iraq. Taxpayers in Minnesota alone forked over $11 billion toward the war, he said, which is costing around $10 billion a month. If spent in Minnesota, here’s what that could’ve provided:

Ellison Speaks If Ellison would pay his parking tickets that should be worth a few port container inspectors too.
