Podcast: Candidates and Climate Change

Elizabeth Wilson“Change” has been a buzz word of the 2008 presidential campaign.

“Climate change,” however, not so much.

The League of Conservation Voters this month started tallying televised questions to the candidates. So far, of about 3,000 questions they say only six have been about global warming. Why is this?

Elizabeth Wilson, an assistant professor of energy and environmental policy and law at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, explains this apparent lack of attention, as well as where the candidates actually stand on issues of energy and environment.
